Infrared High-Vision Image Transmission System realized
with 1.25Gbps High Speed Infrared Communication Technology

Infrared High-Vision Image Transmission System was developed by Victor Company of Japan, Limited, that is able to transmit the high-definition television image without the degradation of image quality and the compression of signal.

This system enables 1.25Gbps high speed wireless transmission that the quality is equal to the cable transmission using the infrared communication technology.

As the new trend, the large and wide display products of plasma TV or liquid-crystal TV increase and attract the attention as the interior goods for wall-mount display.  However the large and wide display needs the cable connection with AV equipment and this cable connection is the serious obstacle against the configuration of the stylish home-theater.

Infrared Communication Technology is the key as the solution.

Infrared Communication Technology enables the super high speed transmission of 1.25Gbps and realizes the wireless transmission of heavy high-definition TV image, that is difficult to be realized by Radio Wave Communication Technology. XGA image (1024~768~60Hz) getting the main current of high-definition TV can be also transmitted through 1.25Gbps path without the compression of signal.

If the image signal can be transmitted by wireless method, the data transmission in rooms will be realized by Infrared Communication Technology in near future.
